Anoush Seferian and I performed my piece 'Wings' together live on German television. Already during the rehearsals I was fascinated by her talent. Anoush added her own variations to the
piece and gave it a new sparkle.
About Anoush:
Anoush Seferian was born in France in 1991 and grew up in Syria. From 2009 to 2012 she studied violin with Prof. Alimoukhtar Babayev at the Damascus Conservatory and French literature at the
University of Damascus. In Damascus, she has already played in several orchestras, including the Syrian Philharmonic Orchestra, and performed solo recitals at the Opera House. In 2010, Anoush
Seferian joined the prestigious West-Eastern Divan Orchestra under Daniel Barenboim. In 2013 she was a student of Prof. Andreas Lehmann at the Liszt School of Music in Weimar. Anoush Seferian is
a recipient of the Germany Scholarship (2014 and 2015) and played as a substitute in the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra in 2015.
In May 2015 she made her debut with the Louis Spohr Chamber Orchestra.
In 2016 she received the Playing for Peace Scholarship from the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in the USA and was invited to be their assistant in 2017.
In October 2017, Anoush Seferian completed her Master's degree in Weimar with Prof. Andreas Hertamnn (concertmaster of the MDR Symphony Orchestra Leipzig). Meanwhile she works as a teacher at the
Max Reger Conservatory in Meiningen.

I had the wonderful honour of recording an album with Maria Luefing. For the album "Fallen" Maria lent me her talent on the violin. Whether in one or two voices. Maria always knew how to harmonise our instruments.
After many years of collaboration with renowned music libraries, Joachim Schreiber and Eric Volkert founded the independent music publisher Polarstern Music in Munich in 2015.
Through the label "4TVMusic" founded by Polarstern, my album "Fallen" was mastered and released. This led to an album deal with 4TVMusic and BMG Production Music.
